believes that strong electronic privacy is crucial for the
ongoing success of the Internet as a service, commercial,
and entertainment medium. To this end, unless you designate
otherwise, any information you enter on any Grammarlogues.com
related site or creation will remain strictly confidential.
The essential elements of our Privacy Policy are provided
below. By visiting our site, you are accepting the practices
described in this Privacy Policy. Similarly, by visiting http://www.Grammarlogues.com,
creating a user account (teacher or student), submitting a
purchase order, or contacting us, you agree to the terms and
conditions of this website and to Grammarlogues®' Privacy
Policy and all other policies of Grammarlogues®. Unless
you tell us otherwise, whenever you submit personally-identifiable
information to us online, you are giving your consent to the
collection, use and disclosure of your personal information,
as described herein.
BUSINESS CONDUCT
Grammarlogues® respects the privacy of every individual
about whom we have information. Grammarlogues® pledges
to conduct its business according to the following principles:
Notice,
Access, and Choice: Grammarlogues® recognizes
that individuals should be informed about how personal information
about them is used. They should also have choices about
the dissemination of that information.
Accuracy:
Grammarlogues® maintains quality-control procedures.
These are aimed at ensuring that the information we compile
and process is accurate and complete. We will respond promptly
to any questions about the accuracy of information from
clients and consumers.
Security:
Grammarlogues® maintains security procedures aimed at
preventing unauthorized access to personal information.
We use multi-level security systems to control access to
our sensitive information. All users must have the appropriate
password-protected access codes and be expressly authorized
to access certain data and applications. Grammarlogues®
conducts audits from time to time on our internal and external
information systems to help preserve the integrity of customer
data. We also maintain physical security for our facilities
and limit access to certain critical areas of the business.
Online
Practices: Grammarlogues®' online privacy practices
apply to the collection and use of information collected
online from individuals, prospects and customers who visit
our various websites.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you do not login, create an account, or submit a purchase
order, you can visit Grammarlogues.com without revealing any
personal information about yourself.
User
Provided Information: Grammarlogues® receives
and stores any information you enter on our website (e.g.,
creating an account, filling out a purchase order, etc.)
or provide to us in any other way. The information you provide
is solely of your own volition. You have the option of withholding
any information. However, providing Grammarlogues® certain
personal information is essential for you to receive the
full benefit and functionality of our products and services.
Server
Activity: We keep a record of all server activity,
which means that every page, image, or other type of file
requested by your browser is written into a log file. Each
entry in the log contains, among other things, information
about the computer you're using to connect to the Internet
(its "IP address") and about your browser (e.g., which version
of Internet Explorer you're using). It does not, however,
tell us anything about you personally. We use aggregate
data from the web logs to determine how the site's resources
are being used and to refine its navigational structure.
If the need arises, we may use the logs to trace the source
of abusive or illicit activity. We do not share our web
logs with any outside party.
Cookies:
A "cookie" is a text file, stored on your computer, that
includes information that identifies your computer and can
be retrieved by our server to create a seamless browsing
session. Most cookies used on Grammarlogues.com are deleted
when your browser is shut down or in a fixed amount of time,
whichever occurs sooner. Members-only pages and other restricted
areas use this type of cookie. Most browsers accept cookies
by default. If you set your browser to reject all cookies,
there are several components (including downloads) that
will not function properly. Most browsers have a setting
whereby the browser alerts you when a server attempts to
place a cookie on your hard drive; you are given the option
of accepting or rejecting it. If you login, your username
and password will be stored in our secure servers for the
duration of your login; the cookie containing your username,
password will be deleted when you log out and close your
browser.
